FOREVER LOVE
by Margaret Chittenden
Don't let the title fool you. I heard Ms. Chittenden say herself that the publisher chose it when it was released in 1988. Its story is far from what the sugary name applies. And it's a hard book to get your hands on, available through used books stores only, but defiantly worth the search.
The hero is older then the usual romance, the romance less then the standard book of the month. But the intrigue ... woe ... this book sizzles!!!
From the back of the jacket: "It begins when best selling author Andrea Cavenaugh goes to England to promote her new murder mystery, THE VICTIM.
And agitated older woman appears at her hotel door, claiming Andrea's book is identical to the manuscript her sister wrote before she disappeared.
The pieces of the puzzle become hauntingly clear when Andrea discovers the identity of the missing woman: Daphne Murdoch, a mysterious name and face that have haunted her dreams ... and have now led her to discover the terrifying truth. Daphne Murdoch was murdered thirty-one years ago, the day before Andrea Cavenaugh was born."
A fantastic book, a cover to cover read!!
