“Three brothers battling an evil coven of witches...” That’s how Jacqui describes her newest project: a trilogy. “I didn't mean to stick with the paranormal – and I did do a book on the Witness Protection program between paranormal projects – but this one story, it was ready to be written.” Working a good forty hours a week now that it is summer, Jacqui anticipates a quick turn around time for this new series.

Jacqui went back to school this last fall and is working toward a second degree, this one in Modern Languages. It takes up a lot of her time, but she is managing. “It’s the me time people are always telling us we have to take. Yes, it’s hard work, but it is really rewarding as I learn new concepts. I’ve met some great people who I hope will remain life long friends.”
She still has just as many articles due and has proposals out for more; she is still teaching workshops online and live; and she will make her RWA National debut this summer when she teaches her workshop The Lesson's of Firefly: Learning From the Works of Joss Whedon at the National Conference in San Francisco in July. “Yes, Josh Whedon gave me his permission to teach this class,” she says. Other projects include a possible Blog Tour this summer, participation in Brenda Novak's Annual Auction for Diabetes and traveling with and without the family. “I’m hoping for a conference New York in the fall, but we will have to wait and see.”
“This is the way I like it,” Jacqui admits. “I don’t have a lot of ‘free’ time, but I’m having a blast with all the time I am using.”
“Time you enjoyed wasting, is not wasted time...”
